There is an Ancient Greek word, Kairos, that means right, critical and opportune moment for taking action.
We believe we’ve just entered that moment now, in these contemporary times.
Can you feel it?
Some believe this involves merging technology with man in the form of something called a ‘singularity.’ This singularity is a hypothetical future, a pivot point when technological growth has run rampant and is both uncontrollable and irreversible. (I don't even want to imagine what kind of world that could be.)
We don’t subscribe to this at all.
Just the opposite, we believe we’ve each inherited omniscient and omnipotent capacities and, especially when we come together with others in service —when we step up and communicate these capacities— almost anything is possible.
Abraham is sometimes used as an example of this. At crucial moments in his life, Abraham needed to move forward in trust.
He was told to “go” without knowing where he was headed.
His life was a testimony to trust. Abraham shared we are called that we may be used as part of a larger mission.
He said, “When we bless others, we are blessed in the process.”
Importantly, Abraham shares that to become a blessing we have to believe in the impossible. During a Kairos moment, we understand the moment is ripe, full and perfect so even though we cannot see into the future, we trust, we move forward and we fulfill our destiny.
If we break this down into process, we see that we come into new understandings, we become empowered, and we reach up into new heights and create important impacts for ourselves and all those whose lives we touch.
Can you feel this Kairos moment? If you like the idea, embrace it, and with us commit to moving forward.
Now is our right and critical moment.
To all we are destined to become,
