Today, March 20th, 2021, marks the March Equinox all over the world!
Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the Equinox is the first day of Spring.
For our Humanity’s Team friends in the Southern Hemisphere, today is the first day of Autumn.
Wherever we happen to live, the March Equinox represents a change, a shift, a passing from one season to the next—from darkness to light or from light to darkness.
Given this past year and everything that came with it—and is still with us—many feel that the opportunity for change has never before been more obvious and more enticing.
There’s a whole new normal for us to explore, but for many there’s a shadow of uncertainty and ambiguity tagging along.
Are you in touch with a deeper meaning for your life and an inclination toward a more conscious direction?
Even when we have a burning desire to change things up, where do we find the courage?
Perhaps your inner guidance is leading you toward a change in relationship, job, or location. Will you take that leap of faith?
(Did I just feel you quiver with the very thought of making a big change in your life? Does it feel like a sacrifice? Do you wonder if you have what it takes?)
I’d like to tell you that you do. We all do. It’s simply a matter of consciously attuning to the Divine aspect of ourselves. And then listening.
Most of you know that I have a very strong personal spiritual practice. And as one of my teammates says, “I take my meditation off the pillow,” remaining Present when going about my daily activities in the world.
I can honestly say that there aren’t many minutes in my day when I don’t have a palpable sense of the Divine right here with me. This is the result of a long-standing conscious awareness practice that has now simply become a habit.
But…
There are those occasions when I think I’m present, I think I know where I am, but my mind is off in the world of thoughts and completely distracted from here and now.
I had one of those moments just last week when I stumbled and fell across my stone walkway, slamming my torso against the hard surface, and bruising several ribs.
I am certain that nothing is random. I’m receptive to acknowledging that even those things that are uncomfortable can be seen as happening for a reason, goading us, guiding us, asking for our attention. There’s something new that’s wanting to be born, and since we didn’t hear the initial whisper, the “voice” of newness got “louder.”
The gift I see in this fall I took the other day is an awareness of my desire to accelerate my own wellbeing into dimensions I never even dreamed of before.
I now have an opportunity to slingshot into extraordinary health so that I can be at my best as Humanity’s Team stretches to support the collective conscious journey, planetary awakening, and flourishing at every level of life. I do not have to settle for less than my greatest vision and version of myself.
And neither do you. With Spring comes ideas of renewal and regeneration, of reflection and evaluation. “Spring cleaning” can be viewed as an internal letting go of that which no longer serves.
I encourage you to go within. To follow that inner guidance, which is with you always. And, maybe most importantly, I invite you to accept everything that is happening, including global situations (and even bruised ribs).
With acceptance comes the blossoming of seeds of consciousness already planted.
On this conscious journey with you,
Steve
