Emily A. Francis is a highly sought-after author, radio host, columnist, and wellness expert with vast education and experience. Her commitment to total body, mind, and spirit wellness is her driving force. She believes in a whole-body proactive approach to wellness where balance is the key, and kindness paves the way.
Emily has a BS in Exercise Science and Wellness with a minor in nutrition and a Master of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Human Performance. She graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in clinical and neuromuscular massage therapy and went on to specialize through the Dr. Vodder School of North America in manual lymphatic drainage and combined decongestive therapy, working specifically with lymphedema (a chronic condition usually resulting from post-cancer treatments). She completed 300 hours of Yoga Teacher Training through Universal Yoga of the Sivananda Style.
Since moving to the Mediterranean, she has become highly involved with local food production on the island of Malta writing a regular column in the local tourism magazine, Oh My Malta, titled Emily in Malt' where she interviews local farmers, fishermen, and chefs on single ingredient and GMO-free farming.
She has regular columns in Oh My Malta, Gourmet Today, and the Mediterranean Lifestyle Magazine.
Her books include Stretch Therapy, The Body Heals Itself, Whole Body Healing, Healing Ourselves Whole, and her latest release The Taste of Joy.
