Tolerance

Tolerance...

Tolerance

Peace is the goal.  Tolerance is the method.

Tolerance is being open and receptive to the beauty of differences.

Tolerance is mutual respect through mutual undertanding.

The seed of intolerance are fear and ignorance.

The seed of tolerance, love, is watered by compassion and care.

Those who know how to appreciate the good in people and situations have tolerance.

Not Causing Harm by Pema Chodron

Well being of mind is like a mountain lake without ripples. When the lake has no ripples, everything in the lake can be seen. When the water is all churned up nothing can be seen. The still lake without ripples is an image of our minds at ease, so full of unlimited friendliness for all the junk at the bottom of the lake that we don't feel the need to churn up the waters just to avoid looking at what is there.

Memories by Carol Miller

How is your memory?

When someone transitions that meant a lot to us, we often forgive and forget perceived wrong doings, and focus on the joys that they brought to us. We focus on the laughter and love they shared with us. When someone leaves us do to divorce, break-up etc., we often focus on all the perceived wrong doings and focus on the pain they shared with us.

This is your time...

Portrait de Oneness Blogger

This is your time.

Your time to say what you have kept silent.
Your time to ask your big questions without apology.
Your time to shine like a blazing comet,
whether they like it or not.

Your time to believe what your heart tells you:
that this world could be very different.
Your time to live by your rhythms,
and teach them to the world.

Your time to nurture your village back to health.
Your time to show the world what it has been missing.
Your time to show the world the other side of itself.

The Five Things We Cannot Change

Portrait de Oneness Blogger

This is a book written by David Richo that tells us the acceptance of the givens of life can mean the difference between peace and war on many levels.

Accepting the difficult realities of life and dropping our resistance to them is the key to liberation and discovery. Richo, a psychotherapist, states that there are five unavoidable facts, five unchanging facts that come to visit us many times over.

1. Everything changes and ends.

Don't Wait for Tragedy

Portrait de Oneness Blogger

Do not allow anyone or any situation to determine Who You Are. Your spirit is love, joy, kindness and compassion. That is Who We Are and that is evident when we encounter times of crisis in the world. Let's not wait until something tragic happens again for humanity to come together. Walk in your light and truth every moment no matter the circumstances! Do not allow the darkness of others to block your light!

The Sun of a New Evolutionary Culture is Rising....

Portrait de Oneness Blogger

"The sun of a new evolutionary culture is rising, uniting the mind of a scientist, the heart of a mystic, and the soul of a pilgrim to forge a new humanity!"

"For too long, our world has labored under the polarized worldviews that pit us against ourselves and each other."

 Peace Symbol

We see this crisis, born of a split worldview accelerating, separating, and deepening.

Changing The World Through the Inside

Portrait de Oneness Blogger

If we truly want change in our world ~ we need to stop looking for change outside of ourselves. Change will not happen in the world (outside) until we first change ourselves on the inside. The chaos pain and drama we are witnessing on our planet is a reflection of the chaos, pain and drama in our collective emotional and mental bodies. As long as we are in denial of our negative emotions and feelings we will never be able to transmute and release them.
